Market Evaluation: a thorough, written critique to help you understand how the manuscript meets book trade expectations and an evaluation of its sales potential. Identifies problems, including any need for research, rewrites and/or editing.

Editing

• Content editing: Makes sure style, logic and voice are clear and coherent throughout the entire manuscript, refining language/message.
• Line Editing: Spelling, punctuation and grammar.
• Final proofing (also called "light editing"): The last check for errata before it goes to typesetting.
• Blueline proofing: checking for problems in the printer’s proof before the final printing. Price + whatever the printer charges per page to make changes (usually $25 minimum).

• We help you decide if a short digital print run (POD) or traditional/offset print run is the most effective route for your book. ½ hour phone consultation.
• We advise clients on whether to use paperback, hardbound or ring-bound.
• Galley print runs (digital only).
• Consultation on final typeset ms. and cover: FREE.

• If manuscript and cover are not in conformation with standard professional practices (ie: margins too wide, typesetting too eccentric, improper scans of photos, cover material unprofessional, improper/lacking bar code) we will bring the product "up to snuff" for the fees for services (typesetting or cover design).

• We locate the best printing deal for your book and get the lowest freight price.
• All jobs are spec’ed to be packed in boxes of about 25 lbs. and shrink-wrapped in 4's or 6's.
